Different in ram place

Go to solution Solved by minibois,

Like the slot on your motherboard?

They are different channel. Slot 1 and 3 work together and slot 2 and 4 work together for 'dual channel memory'.

What this essentially means is that you would want to first fill up one set, than another.

Usually your manual tells/recommends which two to use first.
