Best monitor to buy for ~$350?

Hello,

I am looking to buy a new monitor.

I would like it to be at least 100Hz, as my previous one was 144Hz, and it's hard to go back to 60.

I play some games such as CSGO, BF1 and a few RTS games.

I care about the color reproduction, viewing angles, and eye strain.

I was looking at these ones:
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Acer-ED242QR-Abidpx-Black-24-144Hz-AMD-FreeSync-VA-Curved-Widescreen-LED-backli/173173493163?hash=item2851f1cdab:g:At4AAOSw9KhaFDNa

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/MSI-Optix-G24C-Black-Red-23-6-Curved-FHD-1080p-1ms-MPRT-144Hz-110-sRGB-Wid/172780261381?hash=item283a819005:g:z7AAAOSwGh5Z0P5~

https://www.ebay.ca/itm/MSI-Full-HD-FreeSync-Gaming-Monitor-24-Curved-non-Glare-1ms-LED-Wi-2DAY-SHIP/222820276837?hash=item33e11f9a65:g:~CMAAOSwbPNac7hu

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Samsung-24-Black-Curved-LED-1920x1080-16-9-144hz-Gaming-Monitor-LC24FG70FQNXZA/322396024264?hash=item4b104cedc8:g:yawAAOSwo4pYgQvD

The above ones are all curved, but they don't have to be. I am open to regular flat ones. Furthermore, doesn't need to be from eBay, Craigslist, Newegg, Memory express, etc works fine.

Also what's the difference between Quantum Dot, TN, VA, and IPS?

Which one is the best?

Thanks for your help!

I would probably go with the Samsung.

Also what's the difference between Quantum Dot, TN, VA, and IPS

IPS: Best viewing angles and color reproduction, but response time is a bit slow and higher refresh rate IPS panes are usually more expensive

TN: Best response time and refresh rate but bad viewing angles and color reproduction

VA: Mixture of both, decent viewing angles and color reproduction and ok response time

Quantum Dot I believe is a separate tech meant to increase contrast of a display, and works on the backlight.

So you believe the 100$ extra is worth it vs the MSI one which is VA and says it uses a Samsung panel?

Thanks.

Oops, didn't see the price difference. It converted to $277 USD so I thought the Samsung was cheaper xD. I would probably get the MSI then, since it's the cheapest.

First off do you have the specs to push 144fps?

For games like csgo, I do.

I have a 970.

For bf1 I'll get like 75 frames. But I still like csgo at 144.

Thanks for your reply.

Oh okay. Is there any benefit to quantum dot vs the MSI one?

I dunno it seems cooler but idk if it's worth 100$ more. I could also get one that's 100$ less then the MSI but it's flat.

Dunno what I should do lol. Any recommendations?

Thanks for your reply.

If you really want better contrast and maybe better colors then sure, though I'm personally not sure if it's really worth the extra $100.

As for curve... I personally wouldn't pay that much extra for just a curve, though perhaps it's different for you.
