weird, i never encountered any of issues.
i have been using a kit of 16GB Radeon R9 branded memory on these systems witout any problems:
4670K + H81
4670K + Z87
4670K + Z97
4770K + Z97
4930K + X79
4960X + X79
E5 2670 + X79
E5 2603 + X79
granted, this wasn't a cheapo kit.
