Hi, I need help, I have a Cougar Panzer case. I currently have a crappy Hyper T2 cooler on my ryzen 5 build. I would like to do some mild overclocking, and my case supports up to a 160mm aircooler. Is there anything you guys would recommend? I would like to shy away from the hyper 212, as that bores me. A plus would be RGB too. Also, if you suggest I should wait for something new to come out, please say so.

Noctua's coolers (such as the D15SE, D15S, and D14) are seen as some of the best air coolers on the market. They can be quite pricey at 70-90 USD, but will get you very good temperatures. Their color schemes are "boring", standard aluminum and brown Noctua fans, but if you're going for performance they're good.

As far as clearances, the D15SE is advertised as 165 mm; however, this can be fixed by moving the fan down 5mm. The other two are listed at 160mm.

Another alternative is the Be Quiet!. I don't know much about the specifics, but they're also seen as good.

Here are links to coolers from both Noctua and Be quiet!.

California, Team Vulcan 2x8gb. The budget would be anywhere from $20-80, more or less depending on what you tell me. I can go to online retailers, bestbuy, or something else.

Good options include:

Kotetsu: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/7998TW/scythe-cpu-cooler-scktt1000

H5 Ultimate: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Ztp323/cryorig-cpu-cooler-h5ultimate

Mugen 5 rev. B: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/8GBrxr/scythe-mugen-5-rev-b-512-cfm-cpu-cooler-scmg-5100

If you're just aiming for a moderate oc, the Kotetsu should be plenty of cooling already.

If you want RGB, the H7 Quad Lumi is a costlier option that performs slightly worse: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/bHcMnQ/cryorig-h7-quad-lumi-490-cfm-cpu-cooler-h7-quad-lumi
