i'm a first time builder and i have the masterbox lite 5 rgb case, msi mortar b350m motherboard. i've been trying to build this thing for over 12 hours. i've done prior research on building and watching many different guides as i build. also read the "so called"  manuals for the motherboard and case which seem strangely outdated or reused, and that for some reason only contain basic pictures that are often no help, with a lot of crucial information nowhere to be found.

anyways, the problem i am having is that i am now connecting wires after installing the motherboard to the case. i successfully connected the front panel connectors, but the fan plugs for the front fans are extraordinarily convoluted. the fan at the back of the case was fine. i just plugged it into SYS_FAN1. the plugs for the front fans were completely different.

the pictures below are the plugs in question. from the front of the case where the fans are i can see that three separate connections are converging, and then at the end they reach the plug in the picture. so i can deduce that the plugs from all three fans are connected to one thing and i just have to plug that one thing in to make it work. but the problem is there are two plugs each with three different paths converging. this leads me to believe that maybe the power for the fans is a different plug than the LEDs, but that doesn't really make sense. the other problem is there is absolutely no hint at where to plug these in.

please....... what are these plugs, and where do they need to go? i just want to play video games.......

The top pic is familiar but the name slips my mind.

The second pic looks like RBG headers. Your motherboard likely has a connector somewhere or your case has a RBG controller somewhere or something. This product from cooler master for a cable splitter shows them in use:

EDIT: Right on cooler master's website for your case it shows the cables and says what they are. There is a header they plug into on the motherboard.

hahahahahaha. i figured the only thing that made sense is that the big port in the first pic would plug into the power supply somehow. after making that post i decided to get started on the PSU, and i saw the perfect fit for the fan plug. i still wasn't sure if that was where it went, but if anything i would have just yolo'd it. while watching a guide on youtube for psus it became obvious.

Top pic is molex connector. If I must guess, it's probably to power fan hub. You connect that to PSU. Alternatively you could unplug fans from hub and plug them directly into the motherboard.
