CPU graphics?

if you don't have a GPU and boot up your PC will the CPU handle graphics on its own or is there a switch you'd need to switch?

heck.

Depends if your CPU has Integrated graphics or not. What CPU do you have / wanting to get?

It should handle it on its own.

I believe the option in modern systems that let you select which one to use is more of a "don't waste your time figuring it out, here's what it should be." Worst comes to worse, you can reset the UEFI settings and it'll automatically figure it out.

At default it will switch automatically to iGPU.

Your cpu already have gpu so you won't need another gpu.

If it cannot run higher end games, is not about the amount of memory, the gpu may not be powerful enough.

That's when you need to add more powerful gpu (adding extra gpu).

To be honest your cpu is very weak to play serious games.

You need at least 4 cores, and you have only 2.

That cpu is meant to do an office jobs and not gaming.

I suggest you upgrade your CPU to Athlon X4 and buy a cheap gpu because athlon doesn't have a build in gpu.

Or if you have more money you can upgrade to Ryzen 2200 at least.

I had its little brother(A6-5400K) and that could barely do office jobs even when overclocked to 4.4Ghz.

Yes you can get that, but remember you need to buy a gpu.

As that cpu doesn't came with an integrated gpu.

Get a rx550 or gtx 1030
