Best pfSense motherboard

Hi everyone,

 

Does anyone know an good motherboard with dual gigabit LAN (i prefer Intel of possible) and Intel Wireless AC 5GHz in an mini ITX as an pfSense router.

so you have gigabit from your isp?

 

what do you want to do? vpn? caching? adblock? filtering?

 

Budget? power consumption?

If your using a vpn, id get a faster cpu then. and get something like a pentium g4560.

Don’t use pfsense for Wi-Fi. It doesn’t work very well and only supports 802.11n anyways IIRC.

Details: 12GB ram, GTX 1080, USB card passed through to windows 10 VM. VM's OS drive is the SATA SSD. Rest of resources are for Plex, Duplicati, Spaghettidetective, Nextcloud, and game servers.
