Why are you upgrading your PSU?

What are the specs? If the RM550x costs less, get that. The RMx performs better and is quieter than the GQ, and it's fully modular

I am using a gtx 1060,i3 6098p,1hdd,4 case fans,Gigabyte H110DS2.But i will upgrade my CPU sooner or later so i will probably need more Watts. Also in ym coutnry the RMX550 is 12euros cheaper than the 650w

Which VS?  Gray label (new) or "VS" in orange (old).

I dare say the new HEC built VSs are about as good as the CWT CX's in terms of quality.

If the PC is working fine now, you probably won't see any issues.

The problems that are common with the "old" VS:

  • PC shutting off when mains drops below 200V (brown out) because PSU doesn't support lower line voltages
  • PC shutting off during high transient loads (not something you see with 1060 cards.  1080's will crash the VS when you start up games, though
  • Housings getting crushed in transit causing rubbing fans, etc. because the steel used is only 0.6mm as opposed to 0.8mm.

The PSU isi rated to put out 550W, so unless your CPU upgrade is a pair of Xeons, you won't need another PSU due to a CPU upgrade.  If you did a GPU upgrade, I would consider a new PSU.

A 550W RMx should be plenty for the system you listed, even with a 7700K and 1080Ti.

1. Why 650W?

2. What options are available??
3. Nothing is known about the EVGA GQ, especially if there is a V2.

Whisper Formula or Whisper M in 450W would be a good choice and also should be cheaper.

Other options:

be quiet Pure Power 10, 400W.

be quiet Straght Power 11, 450W

For that Board you don't need 650W and you can't use it anyway because the CPU voltage regulators would catch fire if you'd do...

You can't even overclock with it anyway...
