Acer XB241H or another?

Meeko1875

Hi all,

I have the option of buying the Acer XB241H used for £180 (about $249) on which the seller has assured me there are no issues and he purchased in September last year. He is also allowing me to view and test before hand so is there any specific tests I should be doing aside from a dead pixel test?

On the other hand I have a £50 amazon gift card which I can use to put toward another monitor. I have a 1050ti (will be upgrading to 1080ti once prices drop a little bit) and i7 6700k, 16gb ram.

I can't afford at this minute to go all out and get a monster monitor and probably won't be able to afford it anytime soon so I am trying to do this on a budget hence the buying second hand.

Unless there is a an option for a similar monitor I can get for around £240 then should I just go with the Acer even though its second hand. Or am I better buying something without G-Sync that is brand new?

My current monitor is an ASUS VS248HR60hz FHD 1ms.

Thanks

Id take it providing theres no dead pixels or ghosting, that's a good deal
