Posted February 9, 2018 I remember watching about a year ago a video where Linus/Luke was testing tomb raider (or was it farcry?) and there was stuttering or problems loading in textures because of the hard drive but they had no problems with an SSD. Does anyone remember which video this was? My memory could be failing me i'm not sure if i'm remembering this correctly but help is much appreciated. I remember the video was not specifically about hard drives vs SSD's but rather whoever was benchmarking the game kind of just threw it out there that the textures were not loading in properly because of the HDD. I coulda swore it was Linus though hmm...
