LGA1366 Air cooler

Jacky63863

Fellow forum users:

I'm using a w3690 with ASUS rampage 3 Xtreme. (  lga 1366 socket )

The cooler is fine with approx 60 Degree Celsius on full load.

But i wanna go even further on cooling to keep my CPU more "healthier?"

Requirement ( or condition i should say ? )

Size : I don't think that matters in a EATX chassis

          If i'm wrong that size doesn't matter. i'm using a Coolermaster RC-922XM-KKN1.

that should give clear description on size.

RGB : Doesn't matter. it does not have a transparent side.

Price : Any

Cooler Type : Air coolers, even tho its obvious when i posted it in Air Cooling section

Socket : lga 1366

Any help or discussion is appreciated.

Edit: Please  also attach links to the product if one is willing to. thanks

To be honest, that's a good temp. You won't be needing a better cooler than that.

Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10GHz - Intel Stock Cooler - Zotac Geforce GT 610 2GB Synergy Edition

Intel DH61WW - Corsair® Value Select 4GBx1 DDR3 1600 MHz - Antec BP-300P PSU

WD Green 1TB - Seagate 2.5" HDD 1TB - Seagate Barracuda 500GB - Antec X1 E.

Not much point in going even lower in temps. 60-ish is already quiet "healthy" for the CPU.

I have a H80i v2 water cooler and at 4.6 GHz it reaches 75C. These are very good temps, you have no need for a better cooler thant that.

Is that with stock Intel cooler? Its good temp already, so something like 212 Evo would be fine. Pretty much all coolers that have been on market for past 3-5 years are compatible. What budget and location? Also are you using some fancy tall RAM or just plain sticks?

If that's with the intel stock cooler you got a good chip; my suggestions are

CoolerMaster Hyper 212 $25ish or if you really want as cool as possible Scythe Ninja 4 SCNJ-4000 $40

^Incase you've not heard of the Scythe Ninja 4.  Besides this you can undervolt your cpu as you can see demonstrated here;

5820k4Ghz/16GB(4x4)DDR4/MSI X99 SLI+/Corsair H105/R9 Fury X/Corsair RM1000i/128GB SM951/512GB 850Evo/1+2TB Seagate Barracudas
