ok guys i get that this case has built in standoffs, and i did consider installing it with no standoffs, but i heard that the motherboard should not come in contact with the plate of the case, is this true ?!

thanks :)

The motherboard won't come in contact with the motherboard tray since they have built in standoff's that raise it off the surface.

i have the cougar mx 310 case, and the asrock AB 350 pro 4 motherboard
i used 6 standoff screws when installing the motherboard, but the i/o ports of this board did not align with the i/o shield, in fact the board ports were higher than the empty ports on the i/o shield !!!!!!!
so i installed the board with no i/o shield, its not a pretty solution, but i did not know what else to do
is there a solution for this ? and is it bad not to install the i/o shield ? because i read that the contact between the i/o shield and the ports help in grounding or something else !!l

Take out the brass standoff's, that case had built in standoffs and don't require the,.

If it has built in stand offs it wont. If not you should use stand offs or you get a shocking surprise :) next time you touch your case and a potentially dead motherboard.

It's like my case, the core V21 and has raised sections to replace the need for standoffs, the board traces do not come in contact with those parts, as the boards are designed in that way to not have traces so close to the standoffs if you're paranoid about it you could get some thin plastic washers to put between the standoffs and the motherboard.
