There is no short answer, generally either the cheaper one or the one that provides the longer warranty is better but there are many variables here so saying something general is not so right

im ok with a long answer. im not looking for advice really just to start a conversation. i have heard good things about MSI and Nindia but then that could be more to do with marketing than anything else.

Not really too much difference with GPUs, just buy the cheapest that you like the look of or that has the cooler you want. Just don't get MSI motherboards, they dye evrytiem.

Linus is my fetish.

There's not really much of a difference. It's basically your preference, could be based on price, looks, cooling solution, warranty, etc.

Any open air design will usually perform similar to any other open air card with the same chip. Really warranty differences are the main thing to consider aside from price and ascetics. For example, ASUS is a lot more lenient about water cooling and mounting a water block on an ASUS card will usually not void your warranty ( as it would with cards from some other companies).
