Can someone help me find this

Reily

I've looked at craft stores, home hardware, home depot, canadian tire,

I've also looked for simple mesh garbage cans or car grills(that are afordable) i can't seem to find anything.

If anyone has any idea where to get something like this but for a cheaper price please lmk.

Also i'm in Ontario Canada(will probably effect prices/shipping). Hopefully local so i can just drive there.

I think I've seen it at canadian tire in the automotive body repair section there should be some sheets of flexible mesh metal that you use as a form to hold body filler..also go to the nuts and bolts section near their tools section there should be a metals area with some sheets of light metal they have some heavy ass honeycomb metal thing but there might be a lighter gauge version.... might..

or go to a dollar store or an Ikea and buying a waste paper basket for a buck or 2

Also - look at hardware store for mesh replacement for windows and screen doors. You can usually find nylon and/or metal of various sizes...

Thanks for the responses, i did buy some black aluminum screen yestarday, however this is going on a project that will have semi-open fans which i don't want my nephew sticking his fingers in so i'll need something thicker.

@ aphexx I guess i'll have to go back to canadian tire, or to a different one. Hopefully they can help me out. Even if the holes are bigger i can wrap it in the screen and use the screen as a dust cover.

its going to be pretty obscure I don't even think a majority of CT employees will be able to help you locate it. the best one would be in the auto body repair aisle I know I bought some stuff there a while back.if I remember correctly it was looseleaf paper size sold in a package of 2 sheets or so so it is thin and tucked away in a weird place.

another section would be the drywall repair section.there might be a similar product there.

not sure if it is aesthetically pleasing. it is a simple diamond cut design

the best idea is the Ikea trash can though. I'm looking at mine right now its malleable, probably easy to cut light and thick and strong enough to keep small kids fingers out.

mines the traditional round one not this square one

Go to a hardware store and get a 5 gallon bucket paint  bucket roller screen.  About $2.49 at Home Depot or Lowe's in the state.  You might have to paint it whatever color you want.

You could most probably find this in car shops. It's only a guess though, I haven't extensively looked through the stores :/
