Audio Stores w/ shipping to Canada?

PanteaDropper

I read buying audio equipment from a dedicated store is better than buying from a newegg or best buy.

I was thinking of a 5"-10" L/R speaker with a matching sub.

Is there a store someone can recommend?

I would disagree, there are tons of speakers on Amazon.

In the US sure.In Canada they by no means have the best price anymore.I think it was cheaper by 150 dollars for me to walk into Long & Mcquade then it was on Amazon to buy my Eris's

Just stop at Long & McQuade. I bought my Scarlett 2i2, mixers, monitors, cables and other audio stuff from there. If you live in my area, the L&M is one of the best to go to. Staff really let you try out everything or show you how things work and know how to recommend what you need for what you're doing.

Do they really have a good selection of speaker gear? What about Home Theatre audio specific gear?

I always assumed they were mostly music instruments and recording equipment, etc.

If so, I'll definitely have to check out my local location.

There's a professional audio section in the store somewhere. I usually go there when I'm buying DJ equipment and such but as for home theatre, I'm not 100% sure. Like I said, ask around and tell them what you need, they'll probably be able to help you out.
