Does anyone know how to make their desktop wallpaper be NOT pixelated (blurry) without putting it on tile

You could center it or find an image that is the native resolution of your monitor

You're obviously using an image with a resolution that is less than the target resolution. The solution is to use an image with that resolution or greater.

Case: Ncase M1 V5 Black CPU: Intel Core i5 12600 MB: AORUS Z690i RAM: 16GB Kingston HyperX DDR4 SSD: WD SN770 500GB | WD SN750 250GB

Cooler: Noctua NH-L9x65 GPU: EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra 8GB PSU: Corsair SF600 80+ Platinum Fans: Noctua NF-F12x 2 | Noctua NF-A9x14

windows 10 compresses all wallpapers by default regardless of resolution:

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

The best way is to use a background that is the native resolution as your monitor then select extend display in Windows display settings if you have more than one monitor.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

May be the wallpaper you're trying to use is rasterized. It could be enlarged to the 4k resolution while it's original resolution was less than 4k. Like 1080.

Download wallpapers from http://wallpaperswide.com/. They have pretty good collection.

My monitor resolution is 3840 x 2160 if that helps.

simple fix - use 3820x2160 or bigger wallpaper that is not compressed to shit or upscaled from a smaller rez and then re-uploaded as "4k"

have you tried a picture you took yourself with a good camera? even my sub $100 camera shoots pictures over 4k
