Hey guys I wanted some suggestion, planing to get a medium end GPU.

Since the price hike on GPU: I can afford either a 1050 2gb or a 560 4b. The 1050 is 15 to 20 USD cheaper but the 560 offers 4gb RAM. What should I get ?

I have a AMD FX-6300 and I plan to play on 1080p. Not planing to upgrade either this year.

TIA everyone :)

What games do you play? Get 1050 2GB if you don't play games that requires heavy VRAM usage, no DX12 and isn't AMD bounded. Also your CPU is weak.

Any new game that comes out :D . From what i understand that since both cards are not that powerful VRAM wont make any difference .

As for CPU part I know its weak but I dont have the money right now to upgrade the CPU.  I just need to get a GPU that will provide me decent frames on a 1080 screen with medium graphic settings

RX 560 4GB is probably your best bet then.

GTX 1050 is the best pick, keep in mind your CPU is terrible outdated and it'll be a greater issue when running games than either GPU you go with.

You could also look for a used GTX 960.  It's about the same as a 1050.

I have tested out some games using my friends Rx580, tbh i run most stuff maxed out and got a minimum of 40FPS (even in games like Metro Last Light) So I am pretty happy with what I have for now :P .  I think I will get a 1050 2gb version since most reviews I have seen the 4gb is not making much difference ( at least on 1080p)

Check apps where people sell stuff locally.  I don't know where you live, but in the US, OfferUp, letgo, and Facebook Marketplace are good places to search.  You can also go oldschool and use Craigslist, but I always feel more likely to get mugged and then shot and then brought back to life so I can be killed again when I meet through there.
