That is a USB-B 3.0 plug.

 

USB-A is the "host" side of the cable (the side that plugs into your computer), USB-B is the "device" side of the cable. That would plug into a USB 3.0 device, probably an external HDD or something like that.

USB Type B connector, it's shaped that way so stupid people don't connect two powered USB Type A ports together shorting the circuits.

Those are USB B plugs or USB Host plugs. Use to plug in monitors, printers, desktop peripherals, etc.
