I like the clean aesthetic of light mode? (Plus I never have to worry about threads with formatting issues.)

lol, After switching to it I haven't gone back, looks totally different whenever I do see it like that!

Same with youtube, switched to the newer version and use the black theme, used to it now.

I don't assume anything. I try to write everything in normal colors, sometimes using red to warn people of potential pot holes or other issues.
