The 1600 is the better value, given you can overclock it to match or exceed stock 1600X speeds.

But then there's no performance difference, and the 1600 comes with a stock cooler.

Save your money and get the 1600 and OC it. I've got my one pretty stable at 4.0GHz but still to do a long stress test.

With my 1600 I Can stream rainbow six siege on twitch (with OBS at 1080p 30fps 6000 bitrate) no problem

I wouldn't pull the trigger on anything until the new releases come out in Q1 2018
