Your going to have to provide more detail as what this if for and how the connections are made, can you take a photo of what your wiring up? Ok am in process of charging phone for a photo and will post it asap. As for what its for. Its for a small nursery and the 2 - 250w heat lamps have been removed and replaced with 4 CFL lights with the extraction fan being needed for ventilation. There was also a small light in the middle of the unit which as been removed completely. If it's a metal enclosure good idea to change that extension cord for a grounded one just to be safe. Updated Modding FAQ
 I would suggest to replace the extension cord with a 3 prong grounded one as I see you do have connections for ground. Also make sure you trim those loose strands from the extension cord don't want something to short out. Updated Modding FAQ
 I see the "heat" is running through some kind of "IR" thingymabob is that bad for the CFL's? Have had one blow already after only a month or so. The IR is just indicating that the unit was suppose to be using Infrared heat lamps, I assume since you don't require them that you have switched them all out to the CFL lights instead. Also it shows that there should be a light of some sort that was built in did that get removed? If you want boht the fans and now the new 4 CFL lights to turn on you would just install a jumper from the Heat terminal over to the Fan, there is no other neutral cable needed. After you can wire in the ground to the terminal labeled E for grounding. Updated Modding FAQ
 For the live and neutral connection you can refer to this, you will need to double check with a multi meter if the wires in the cord are not color coded or standard colors.
