I just got the ek a240g. I’ve heard about pre-flushed rads but should I flush the blocks and rad? Is it really really bad if I don’t?

They get an initial cleaning from EK but for rads they should always be flushed ad cleaned throughout before assembling. Blocks are relatively clean so they don't really need to be flushed but if you want you can give it a final rinse with distilled water just to make sure no dust is inside.

On the rads heat up some distilled water fill it half to maybe a 2/3s full cap off all the ports and shake it around for 10 to 15 mins, drain out the water and look for stuff in it,Keep doing it tell the water comes out clean. The rest of the loop just a rise of distilled water is all they need.

I normally flush with lots of hot tap water, followed by a couple of rinses with distilled water to rid of the ions.

Blocks I normally do a symbolic rinse with distilled water but is not necessary.

Just don't touch chemical flush systems like Mayhems Blitz or PrimoChill Systemprep. Since your rads are not copper and it will destroy them.

I personally built a flush system to clean out the rads. All radiators are dirty, Even EK.
