Hyper t2 vs wraith stealth.

SonicThunder34

Hi, I have a ryzen 5 1400. I’m wondering if the cooler master hyper t2 would preform better and most importantly quieter than the wraith stealth cooler, which sound annoys me on low processes such as browsing. The t2 is on sale right now for $10

No, just get a Hyper T4, should be $20-25

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Wraith has similar perf to 212, so it's better than what you're looking at.

Wraith Stealth is a bit behind the T2, but then the Wraith Stealth comes free of charge. I wouldnt bother buying the T2.

Are you sure that the noise is coming from your cooler? Does stopping the fan with your hand remove the noise?

Have you tried lowering fan speeds from the motherboard settings? What are your temps when browsing?

I have a Blizzard T2 and his got a 3 pin connector, in CPU_fan connector run at full speed. Oh, it's annoying! (actualy using in Sys_fan to control with HWinfo64. CPU_fan hasn't control on my mobo, with 3 pin, 4 pin works normaly) So, see first if Hyper T2 has 3 or 4 pin connector.
