DDR4 Ram 16GB

 Me: Oh, looks like the next part I need for my first gaming build is Ram, and I need DDR4. 16GB should do.

Me: I cant pay this much!! Atleast around 150!!

 

 

 

Help, I'm on a smaller budget(about $1000)and I'm looking to get atleast 16gb of ram, where can I find the best deal??I want to game at 1080p and stream and record videos at about the same resolution. Please accommodate my parts I currently have into your recommendation

Just buy 8gb now see how it fairs there are 80ish dollars single sticks, if you ever feel you need more buying another one in the future shouldn't be as problematic.

Ram Prices are flying to space right now. Propably the best option is eiter to buy used, or to get 8gb now and as soon as RAM prices go down to get the other 8gb or to save till you can afford another 8gb.

The link you provided for your mobo does not go to a motherboard, it goes to a PNY GeForce GTX 1060 video card.

Ram prices are so high right now. I would go with 8gb then upgrade when or if you need it.

If youre doing streaming though, a ryzen 1600 but with an AM4 mobo (Be sure to look out for ones that support ddr4 3000Mhz) will work you better.
