I second @Jurrunio on getting the 1600 not the 1600x - more bang for the buck, and has included cooler.

I don't see the EVGA 550 GD series PSU's on @STRMfrmXMN's list.  Maybe he'll chime in on a better choice there.

Seeing that your new mobo will support 4 ram slots, maybe consider getting another 2x4gb kit to put you at 16gb total RAM.

Happy upgrading!

That 1060 is literally $50 less than the lower end 1070s, its a terrible buy. Either save ~$100 with a lowered end 1060 (they don't need that much cooling anyway) or save up $50 more and get a 1070

Of course you wouldn't - Asian spec unit

It's usually sold for the same price as a NEX-G - I wouldn't buy it except if you don't have another choice - Super Flower Leadex Gold or a SAMA Armor Gold is available for same price, or North American units.

Would it be better to get 1600x and get a watercooling? Or stick to 1600? Does it have much different performance against it cost?

So What should I upgrade 1st?

I might get an upgrade on ram... So should I upgrade my MOBO 1st? And not get any GPU yet?

1600 with stock air cooler. 1600x and watercooling might push you to the 4GHz mark, but even the 1600 can do 3.8 on air so I dont think it's worth spending so much on the 1600x. Any spare budget should go to the graphics card like a cheap 1070.

Hey Thanks.

Looks like ill be investing for a 1070 then.

What could be your recommended PSU?

I actually have doubts with my PSU whenever I get GPU, im scared that it may not be enough in terms of quality/build.

Depends on where you are buying from

This is what we use to get a general thought about a PSU. Make sure it's tier 3 or above (though most of the time tier 1 and 2 units arent that much more expensive). As for wattage, 550w is about enough

Yeah, but not a good one either.

Can be a decent one, can be a dud. Don't know until it is tested.

There are many worse ones though...
