SLI vs nvlink (for quadro)

welp the NV link bridge is only used by Volta cards (Titan V has a much larger connector on the top as shown in pictures you can find on the internet) so the much cheaper SLI bridge is all you need. Also Pascal can only go 2-way SLI so one of the cards can stay outside. However, does your motherboard support SLI? Do you have the power supply to power them?

I am planning on getting 3 nvidia quadro p6000 cards for my graphic design studio and I was wondering if I should get a 3-way nvlink bridge for my quadro cards or a 3-way SLI bridge?

For graphics design, you dont need any one of these. SLI is only used in games, not in workstation use.

I am not choosing one based on price I just want to know which works better for gaming so I can make the most out of my quadro cards

NVLink is only used on the Quadro GP100, Tesla P100, and Tesla V100. No one knows if there is actual support for NVLink on the NVIDIA TITAN V Volta card. Even then you'll need a pair of those NVLink bridges to get the full bandwidth (street pricing is as much as a single NVIDIA TITAN Xp)
