Possible Airflow Issue

Go to solution Solved by Vegetable,

Well that 390 is staying ICE COLD for what it is, and that i3 is chilly in the 60's too. I'd say dont give a shit until temps are a problem. I have 7 fans and my temps are way worse than that. Mind you im OC'd to the limit but my 4790k can touch 80c during streaming and my Fury will never go above 79c but often near if under load.

I got the deepcool tesseract , from what i've learned my pc's gaming temps are ok staying at around 60-65 (at really high usage) for the cpu and around 60 for the gpu (i3 8100 and amd r9 390 ) so .. while under full load the top of the case gets hot to the touch meanwhile from the left side where there is a place for x2 120mm fans there seems to be cold air going out of the case

I have currently just 1 exhaust fan on the back of the case , my question is should i get a front intake and one more exhaust or something else

CPU: INTEL Core i7 4790k @ 4.7Ghz - Cooling: NZXT Kraken X61 - Mobo: Gigabyte Z97X SLI - RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ares 2400mhz - GPU: AMD Sapphire Nitro R9 Fury 4G - Case: Phanteks P350X - PSU: EVGA 750GQ - Storage: WD Black 1TB - Fans: 2x Noctua NF-P14s (Push) / 2x Corsair AF140 (Pull) / 3x Corsair AF120 (Exhaust) - Keyboard: Corsair K70 Cherry MX Red - Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma

Bit of an AMD fan I suppose. I don't bias my replies to anything however, I just prefer AMD and their products. Buy whatever the H*CK you want.

*looks at sig*

*sees 4.6GHz*

well you got screwed with your chip then, mine goes 5GHz pretty easy

agree with your other options though, temps dont really matter untill you throttle or they get into the 90s or high 80s

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

yah, 5.1GHz for benchmarks, 5GHz daily, running stock because youtube got unhappy with either the CPU OC, GPU OC or memmory OC and i just couldnt bother to figure out which one but i doubt it was the CPU tbh because the system refused to crash otherwise
