February build 2018

hello guys I'm planning on building a budget pc next year february and was wondering if this build is already good.

I'm not gonna include an OS since I've heard that you can just download win10 in microsoft's site.

this is only for gaming atm and maybe upgrade it 2yrs later if 4k will be the standard display.

 

MSI B350m BAZOOKA

Ryzen 3 1300x

Gigabyte gtx 1050ti 4gb

hyperx 8gb ddr4-2400 kit 

WD caviar blue 1tb

NZXT S340

Sharkoon WPM600 bronze 600watt

total price €679

I've seen good ratings in the store that I'm going to buy it.

I currently live in belgium and computer parts here are not that cheap

 

any suggestions would be nice to make it cheaper...

I will not spent above 700 for the moment

Not bad, but I'd wait until it's actually Feb before planning anything out. Prices fluctuate, something sweet might come out at CES, etc. It's exciting, I know, but planning now is too early.

 

Other than that I'd look at a better PSU and an SSD.

I'm already doing a little bit of research now ... I was trying to look for a cheap way to build a gtx1060 but its too expensive here...I hope the prices go down next year

I would suggest trying to squeeze in a SSD. If your not willing to spend over 700 you could reduce the WD caviar blue 1tb to a 500gb HDD and get a cheap 120gb SSD.

Power requirements are not that high in a GTX 1060 system. You can manage quite nicely with something around 450W. Get a decent unit like the Corsair CX-450 or CXM-450. May cost a little more, but the investment will pay off.

Generally 500GB HDD are $1-2 dollars less than a 1TB HDD, not worth it

You can buy a Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 750GB HDD for £27.60 which is about £10 cheaper than the WD caviar blue 1tb leaving a littlle bit of room for a cheapo SSD such as the kingston A400 120GB which is about £44 which could be squeezed in if willing to go like £10 over budget.

 

-i dunno what pricing is like not in England though so i could be wrong

In Canada a 1TB is about $65 and 500GB like $57-60

 

I think many european stores don't even sell smaller hard drives
