Second hand 980ti deal or no

I want to upgrade my system since it has a really old graphics card, my friend offer me his gigabye g1 gaming 980ti for 250 USD ,should I buy it or not

$250 for a 980ti is a pretty sweet deal, 1070 performance for 1060 prices.

I don't know what local pricing is like for you, but the 980Ti is still a strong card, comparable to a 1070. It does require more power, so check your system can deliver that. Also, what are you upgrading from?

If your power supply can handle it and if your old graphics card is at least 25% slower ===> GO FOR IT. It's a very good price for a 980 ti.

it's a good deal, but make sure your power supply and your other specs can handle it.
