pc wont turn on

Ok so i have my pc on all night and when i get up in the morning it doesnt turn on, but when i open it up their is this button on the mobo that i press it turns the pc on for a few seconds, so i dont think its the power suply, is it just it overheating or is their something seriously wrong with it. thanks

Was it working before? Are all the front connectors in the right spots?

My Build Log on PCPartPicker聽FX-6300, ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3, MSI 7870 GHz Edition, Corsair Vengeance LP 1x8GB, 1TB WD Blue, Fractal Core 1000 USB 3.0, Corsair CX600, and my most recent addition that I've had forever and isnt new is a 80GB WD800 for Linux,聽Lenovo ThinkPad X131e, ASUS Transformer TF300T, Galaxy Note 3 Sister dropped it in a puddle I now have to use a Samsung Brightside, Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250ohm version, Blue Yeti 聽#TheRealKEH-JEFF |聽"Sometimes, if were lucky, in Australia, a family has 2 kangaroos to pick up the kids with" - marto聽| Your entry here聽| Remember kids; just because Linus has a video on it, doesn't mean that its the best choice聽| ts3.wferr.com the best TeamSpeak聽|聽Abide by the CoC聽| Looking for build help? It could just be overheating, i would advise trying to monitor and improve your cooling. If that's not the problem then it will probably more serious聽

It could just be overheating, i would advise trying to monitor and improve your cooling. If that's not the problem then it will probably more serious聽

What do you use for cooling? What cooler is on your 780? is your pump (if you use one) plugged in?

i use the stock cooler on my 780, the h100i on my processor and the case's stock coolers on everything else

What jigahurtz is the i7 at?

well most nights it turns iteslf off before i wake up, but this morning it turned itself off infront of my eyes and now it wont turn back on, im at school now so hopefully when i get home ill be able to turn it on

Take out everything and put it in as much of a bare bone config as possible(only using what is actually necessary). Put it on something that's non-conductive like cardboard or glass.
