More fans necessary?

Ok... so if I buy one fan for the top mount, and then have the one for exhaust and the rad, will that be enough to keep the system cool? It'll be an i5-7600k and an RX580

As i said the case has poor airflow.

But i think it will be fine although i prefer to use air cooler than AIO for that type of case.

Becase u can install 2x fan at the front as an intake and 1 as an exhaust and it will be enough.

But its up to you.

If your budget its not limited look for FD Meshify C it has open front panel for more airflow support up to 360 rad at the front if u remove the hdd cartridge, 2x 12/14cm fan for the top, and 1x 12/14cm fan at the rear.

And it looks more premium

Hi,

I'm building a PC, and for a case I was planning on using the Phanteks Eclipse P300. The case only comes with a single rear exhaust fan, but I'm planning on installing a 240mm AIO water cooler. I've made plenty of PC's with air cooled CPU's but this will be my first build with water cooling. If I install the radiator, will that and the one fan that comes with the case be enough for airflow? Thanks.

The case itself has a really poor aiflow not to mention the front panel design.

U might need to add a fans at the top of the case as an intake because your AIO will be blowing hot air.

I have a case similar to yours and run a radiator up front as intake with three on top and one rear as exhaust. For me that's fine

CPU - i7-4790k

GPU - MSI 980 Ti

Mobo - MSI Z97 Gaming 5

Memory - 32 GB DDR3

Storage - 3.4 TB

P300 only support 1 120/140mm fan at the top.

Even p400 only support 2 fans at the top.

So what is your case exatcly?

Unfortunately I'm limited to about $50-60 for the case. Do you know of any other cases that might be better for this? I'm building this computer for a friend, and he specifically requested water cooling.

Fractal design focus G maybe.

But its an old case it doesnt have psu cover,no tempered glass, and no Fancy RGB.

Just an acrylic panel on the side.

But it has open front panel design and support up to 280mm radiator at the front.

Support 2x fan at the top and 1 for the rear as usual

Yes I was looking at that as well. I'll ask my friend if he'd rather switch to air cooling, if not, I'll just build in this case and buy an extra fan or two. Thank you for your help

It's not really a shock to me to be honest, I didn't see much talk of hardware specs here...
