I am looking for a gaming bundle for a CPU that wont bottle neck the GPU and vice versa. And if someone can get into more depth about bottlenecking that would be great. I was looking at a Ryzen 1800X but i don't want it to bottle neck my 4GB Gtx 960. Also another thing, price isn't my issue

That CPU will not bottleneck the GPU.

What he said.  also... instead of getting an 1800X with a 960.  why not get a Ryzen 5 and a used 980ti, or a 1060 6GB?  Just Curious.

just a suggestion, i'd pair a 1700 with the 960 if you want 8 cores, a majority of 1700 will hit 3.8-3.9 ghz

bottlenecking isn't too complicated

it only occurs when one component is at 100% usage and cannot go any faster and is preventing other components from being utilized more. basically a weak link in the chain

few people realize that a bottleneck only happens in this type of situation. Simply pairing unbalanced components together doesn't mean there's a bottleneck. it has to do with your usage. like a quad socketed system with 4 xeons paired with a very low end 32mb onboard gpu. so long as the system is doing cpu intensive work and not gpu intensive , then there is no bottleneck. the gpu isn't preventing the cpu's from doing their job
