Solid front panel case. How do they work

I have been thinking about this for a long time and i really want to know how a case with a solid plastic or metal front panel case work. Like wouldn’t the temperature in the case go up since there is no intake from the front and wouldn’t big aio have the same problem, unless there i’m just overthinking this and the solid front panel does’t affect the temps that much

air goes in somewhere else simply put

heck it can even go in and out of the same side

the air in a case just has to be exchanged it doesn't really matter which direction.

Most solid front panel cases do have ventilation holes, usually on the top and bottom, or the sides. But most of the time, these aren't adequate enough. They tend to be too small, poorly placed, or both.

YES a solid front panel increases temperatures greatly, that is why the case developers put ventilation holes around the solid front panel to varying levels of success.

solid front pannels will increase temperatures in the case seeing as they dont take in as much air generally, but most of it can be mitigated with about 3-4 cm of vents all around the frontpanel

Some have vent holes on the sides,Some have crappy airflow so do your research before buying.

Very few if any cases have a solid front panel. They have a cover going over the front but that cover has ventilation holes in it. The airflow is still pretty crap most of the time though
