I want a 1440p monitor for my 1070ti, is there anything I should look for specifically? Should I shoot for higher refresh rates or stay below 120?

Depends on your budget, really. The 1070Ti can probably do 1440p @ 144Hz pretty easily. If you can spend ~800 on a monitor, get an Asus Rog Swift PG279Q

1440p 144hz is awesome.

I'd suggest a Dell S2716DG, as it's 1440p, 144hz, and has G-Sync. I have one personally, and it's a fantastic panel; TN, but quite a good TN.

plus, it's only 400ish dollars
