How to deal with 3gb of VRAM

If I have 3gb of vram and pretty high specs on cuda cores and core speed will I be able to play a triple A title 3 to 4 years down the line if I turn down anti aliasing or resolution to 900p

Telling us the exact GPU name instead. We dont play the guessing game well.

GTX 1060 3GB? You'll probably be able to play, don't worry. The detail settings would be a problem.

3GB is more than enough to play games on 1080p/ultra unless you are playing 4k in GTX 1080 with a capped 3GB VRAM model lol.

wolfenstein uses more than 3gb for me on 1080p

I find that hard to believe, but even if it does, compression is pretty good on the latest generation. Unless it starts eating up 5GB+, performance shouldn't be hindered too much.

it's not my video and i do not play at the highest setting (i do not remenber the name of the setting i used, the game has some weird names for it) but...
