Will GTX 1060 run a 1080p 144hz monitor

I have an EVGA GTX 1060 3gb and i'm wondering if it could run newish games at medium to high settings on a 1080p 144hz monitor. any help is appreciated :D

Depends what games... latest AAA titles?  Probably not.  Easier to run popular multiplayer games?  Yeah, I don't see any issues with that.
