Need a replacement for a gtx 780ti

Hello,

I got a pc dirt cheap from someone moving away.

It has a i7 4771.

I think that the graphics cards is bottlenecking my performance as frames drop before the processor reaches full load.

What graphics card should I get to extend the life of this pc for 2-3 years?

I play games like Forza 7, PUBG

Mid tier cards like the 1060 6gb and RX 580 should handle the job, if you can push the budget then 1070 or 1070ti should be the one to go for. Make sure you get a good PSU as well.

An RX580 or GTX 1060 6GB are the minimum of what I'd recommend.

 

Though try getting a 1070. Since the launch of the 1070 Ti, they tend to drop in price.

As others had said I would recommend going for the RX 580 or a GTX 1060 6GB 

Not being completely related to your topic but if your playing a game Like PUBG you may want an SSD to prevent the Textures not loading in issue.

This is true. I run it off my hdd cause its such a big game and it takes quite a while for textures to load when I join a game to the spawn island/lobby place

The 780ti is just as powerful as a 1060 6gb. If you want an upgrade I'd go with a ssd or 1070.

Thanks for the replies. I do have some budget left as this was a friend of mine and sold it to me for a really nice price.

Ill get a 1070 ti and then continue to use it as i slowly upgrade the pc.
