Hey guys,

i'm using HWMonitor and here is a screenshot of my mobo readings. Is this normal? Some of the temperatures seems really high to me while others are fairly low,

but I don't know if all of this data is relevant.

EDIT: After reading the comments I went to the bios and checked there. There is only one reading there - "Motherboard temperature" - and every time I went there

it was between 25-35 Celsius. On the other hand, EVERY time I open the HWMonitor, these are the kind of temps I get. So, what is going on here?

Is it possible that HWM is showing me something that the bios aren't (i.e., what's the diff between "Mainboard", "CPU", "TMPIN2" ect...)?

Is it possible that HWM is showing me false or irrelevant data? This mobo is brand new and I wanna make sure everything is okay.

That doesn't seem normal. It could be your sensors that could be hitting the shitter. But it can be also from your GPU Fan that doesn't exhaust air correctly. For example.

This doesn't always exhaust heat from the back where the I/O Ports are. Heat can spread from the fans across the motherboard resulting in higher temperatures then normal.

Sounds about correct, right @W-L

It shouldn't get that hot regardless if the GPU is a downdraft type cooler, the VRM can get hot under heavy load and is capable of withstanding up to 125C but for the motherboard sensor that looks to be a false reading.

Make sure that you have good airflow in your case. Usually people will bring air in through the front and out through the back. SO make sure that you fans are in the right way. I say this because my friend had the same problem and it was because his fans were not in the case correctly. He had all intake fans and his temps were through the roof.

EDIT2: Ok it seems that these readings are false and that HWM is problematic as a lot more people have been complaining about the same issue.

Thanks to everybody for the help
