Which console for sports games (Xbox One S vs PS4 slim?)

Daveeede

I want to get a console on black friday/boxing day to play games like NHL 18 and FIFA 18. I've always had playstations in the past but I've been using my PC the last few years so never really got into the current generation of consoles.

Which is better for sports titles? PS4 or Xbox one s? Not really interested in the PS4 Pro or Xbox one X since I have a great PC already hooked up to my TV. Also I use netflix through the console (im using my ps3 for it right now) if that matters.

The PS4 looks like it'll be 200USD on black friday but in Canada who knows. It has an NHL 18 bundle so I am leaning towards that right now.

PS4 Online seems to be more popular for Fifa at the very least.

Hope this helps :)

I'd get the PS4 Slim since it's a more powerful console. XBox One S has to run many games at 900p that the PS4 Slim can do at 1080p. Microsoft really screwed the pooch when they cheaped out on gpu to try to shoehorn Kinect into the original XBox One and XBox One X is the first time they have made up for that.

On second thought sports games are pretty easy to run usually so they'll probably be 1080p on both. So just get whichever is cheaper or has a better bundle.
