What's the best 1440p monitor

What's the best 1440p gaming monitor with over 100 hz refresh rate and 1 ms response? And under 400

Why under 1ms response time? It's a mostly useless statistic that doesn't mean what a lot of people think it does. 

 

I'd advise reading this as I've written about response times too many times. 

 

 

I'm going to assume "under 400" means under $400 USD.

 

What size are you wanting, 24" or 27"? Most 100Hz+ 1440p monitors have an adaptive refresh rate, do you need FreeSync or GSync?

at this point most of the Black Friday deals have been posted so we have a pretty good idea what to expect.  Cyber Monday is up in the air.  Actually some retailer are doing Pre Black Friday sales now.

Where? NCIX doesn't release their flyer until the day before. Yes, they do Pretty Black  Friday sales. That's still not Black Friday, which is generally better.

thought NCIX just was for Canada, but saw they have a US site but man does it suck interns of being visually appealing 

 

I think some of the pre BF sales are pretty good in the states for things like peripherals.  Best Buy has last gen MX Master and MX Anywhere 2 for $50 and $40 and G series items like G900 Chaos for $75 or the G810 $80 or G Pro $95.  Also NewEgg has had some decent pre BF sales on random things that rotate every couple of days or even 24 hours.  Point being BF isn't what it once was and studies have found that in retail the best sales happen randomly throughout the year, so waiting for BF or Cyber Monday does not mean the tech you want will have the best deal. 

 

For re-sellers these days are invaluable since so much random stuff can be had for cheap.  So if you dead set on a high end monitor FOMO would not be an issue in my mind since these items tend to not have amazing sales.
