They are all compatible, as in they will all work. It also won't really 'bottleneck' any current GPU solutions. Sure it may not get as high fps as maybe Coffee Lake will, but the differences will not be huge, as Haswell Refresh already had high IPC and your CPU has 8 threads.

If you can get it for a good price, yes. The 3gb variant isn't really worth it and the 6Gb variant is being scooped up by miners and as a result the price has inflated quite a bit. If you can, I'd push a few more dollars for a GTX 1070

The price is actually FINALLY coming down as of late (STRIX model is hovering around 300 bucks instead of almost 400).

 

Pretty sure the RX580 is still royally boned tho.
