Second monitor resolution out of proportion despite native res being selected?

I have a 1440p main monitor connected to my GPU via DP and I just connected a 1080p monitor to the same GPU using HDMI. The dual monitor setup is working well, except everything on the second monitor looks sort of out of proportion. If I drag chrome to the second monitor and make it fullscreen i can no longer see the tabs up the top because they're cut off.

You need to turn off overscan in the monitor's menu. It probably won't be labeled that, it might be something like "zoom" or "scan settings" or something like that.
