Only discord showing burn in?

On my monitor I can see obvious burn in with discord open after an image has been sitting for a few, but only on discord.  Additionally, it only takes a couple minutes for the image to stick.  If I pull up a black screen there isn't an issue, which is what's really throwing me off.  Should I worry about permanent damage, or just ignore it and say discord is being stupid?
