Building a rig, i7 8700k, 1080 ti 11gb FTW3 ELITE (I think that's a good 1080ti card lol) But I'm trying to cool this not planning on overclocking as I heard it shortens the life span significantly. That being said I don't want to ever have to worry about it over heating. Do I need a 360mm? 240mm? Any exact coolers someone could recommend?

For the CPU just buy a good quality 280mm cooler like an H115i or Kraken X62.

The GPU is fine with its normal cooler.

Just an FYI overclocking actually doesn’t affect lifespan as much as it used to since the cards run cool anyway. Not saying you have to OC but it’s not like you’ll have a year with the card before it dies.

The GPU cooler is fine and for the CPU 240mm and up will be quiet and cool, or a beefy air cooler will cost about the same but have less points of failure, while keeping similar temps (depends on rad size of course)

That's an F in the profile pic
