Hi there. I'm looking to possibly build my own pc for the first time and have put this rough plan together.

Am looking for any thoughts or tips on parts i could improve or things i could do better for cheaper. Thanks all.

1) I'm in the UK and my budget is roughly between £1600-£1850 more or less

2) The PC will be used for high level gaming mainly

3)  I plan two run two hd monitors off them, don't know what i'll be buying yet for that so i don't know about resolution and all that

4) Already have a mouse and keyboard, but will need windows 10, specified that in the part picker list

5) Upgrading as my current pc has progressively gotten slower and slower over the years, despite me cleaning up hard drives and defragging and trying my best with my limited knowledge to speed things. Just looking for something new, clean, and better

I would consider CoffeLake but yes it is a very good build otherwise.

Not really anything I would change apart from the CPU cooler. It looks good but for an RGB case such as the 560x I would prefer the NZXT Kraken cooler.

EDIT: Did not realise the pump changes colour, nothing I would change then. Perfect looking build

PC Specs:

CPU: Intel i9 12900K

CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H150i Elite Capellix

Mother Board: MSI z690 carbon WiFi

GPU: Nvidia RTX 3090Ti FE

Case: Phanteks NV5

PSU: Corsair RM1000X

OS: Windows 11 Home

Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU 27" 1440p @ 165hz

Keyboard: Razer Black Widow Chroma

Mouse: Logitech G502

Don't get the 7700K. Either get the 8600K, 8700 or 8700K.

You can get faster RAM for the same or lower price.

There are lots of cheaper SSDs that are pretty good.

Don't get a SSHD if you already have an SSD.

You should be able to get a 1080 Ti with that budget.

750W is way overkill. 550W is plenty.

You can get Windows from Reddit or Kinguin for ~£20-25.

If you get a wireless adapters at least one that supports 802.11ac

I've never heard of that cooler before, and I would consider waiting for the 8700k if you can but other than that it looks fine.

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I would get the 8700k, or even a 8600k. You will never use that much power, I would get the corsair cx550, i think its like $30. You chose a wireless N speed, that speed is two standards behind where we currently are, since N we have had AC, and now AD. I wouldn't pay full price for a windows key, Bonanza has them for $10. Also, I am not familiar with the cooler, unless you know it is well made, I would choose a different one from a more reputable manufacturer, EVGA makes the best CLC imo, but corsair is a close second. Corsair does have the best warranty, as their warranty also covers other parts that may be damaged due to cooler malfunctions, instead of just the cooler itself which is the standard.
