yes, that is the safest way to get legit up to date drivers.

but for the most part the huge amount of drivers that are built in to windows 7 and 8 should be able to get you computer going.

 

important thing is to install Graphics drivers and chipset drivers (intel, AMD or 3rd part for USB 3.0 and things like that) and also sound card drivers if you have one.

Ok so im new to building pc's and was wondering do i go to every parts manufacturers sites and download all the drivers or is that wrong, can i get some help here, thanks.

the only drivers you need on a disc is the motherboards so you can get internet working

Pretty much. Download the latest drivers for the features you need. 

There are often mobo drivers that you end up not needing.
