Posted October 29, 2017 I am trying to turn an old laptop into a media pc like the one built here. The problem is that when i boot it up, it won't actually boot unless the laptop moniter is plugged in first. I have looked at BIOS settings but so far, nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Posted October 29, 2017 Author What do you mean by post checks? Sorry I've never opened a BIOS before. EDIT: I looked online to see what POST was and could not find an option in the BIOS.
