Either Cat5e or cat 6 will do, both are very cheap over at mono price (you can pick up 50ft of Cat5e for like $7) I bought a 50ft role of cat6 for $7.55

I did in fact need Cat 6e. 

But in general downloading for a long while is the only point in getting anything above Cat 6.
