1080ti performance in Escape from Tarkov

TonyTheNain

Hello!

So I don't know if any of you guys can help me with this, but here is my problem:

I have a i7-7800x, 1080ti and 32gb of ram. The game is set on ultra and have at least 30fps all the time. People told me that they have a lower config than that and keep a solid 60 fps. What is the problem with mine so I can do the same?

Anyone know?

Thank you!

You may need to open your GeForce control pannel, manage 3d settings and set "prefer maximum performance". This setting it at power saving mode by default. If this has already been done and you still have issues, check that you are running in full screen and not windowed full-screen mode.

This could be CPU related issue, the i7 7800x is known to perform even worse than the i7 6700k in a lot of gamings due to the Mesh Cache and poor single thread performance this processor has over all, compatibility issues are not to take off account.

Unless you just mean you want to lower your graphical in game quality to achieve better fps, you can do that by going on your video menu within games options.

That's exactly why I sold my 7800x to buy a 8700k
