I have to say I'm a little bothered that Linus never answered my question. It doesn't seem too far fetched they they're trying to push people into using Floatplane now.

I dont mind the ads that are part of the video but please for the love of god show things that are related to computer hardware not monthly subscriptions for cell phone service and junkware that anybody with enough computer knowledge can do on there pc for free. What was it synergy for example? Quit destroying 1000 dollars worth of pc hardware and you won't need to advertise junk to get through. From what i seen the likes versus the hates you guys need to get your act together or this ride of making bookoo bucks and destroying hardware is going to be over. We subscribe to see techtips and new hardware not you and your buddys showing off and gloating over your mega epic watercooled peltier chipped oil bath pcs. 80% of cant even afford the memory for one of the puters you build let alone build one of them. We want honest reviews, benchmarks, and real world applications of hardware.

With the amount of Youtube I watch, I figured it was easier to sign up for Red

Agreed. I didn't mind the ads before a YT video, but lately I've been getting 3-5 ads per 10 minute video so at that point it just became cheaper for me to purchase YouTube RED.

Thankfully it isn’t as bad as regular TV out here, that’s almost 10 minutes of adds every half hour block.

But TV shows don't deny that there are commercials.

As Linus and co has said before: They are an entertainment group first, then a tech group. I personally would like to see below the bottom to above the top but...I have 4 other channels that deliver that so whatever.
